updated garage photos

Author: Travis Kinney

Here are some photos I took today of the garage that appears on earlier posts. This is some of my favorite stonework. The clients found the stone and Craig Wright of Coastal Lawncare is doing the installation of it. Some of the pieces are huge and require a skid steer to lift and install.

Old door reused

Often, in old house renovations we will reuse some of the old doors. I have them sent out and stripped and new vintage hardware (or good working originals) installed. These doors look great used on bedroom closets.

Kitchen island/ table

The previous post showed a portion of an old farmhouse up the coast that was renovated. The kitchen is located in this narrow ell and I designed the following table to be located in it. Directly across from the table is pair of french doors that open out onto a covered porch.

Old farmhouse renovation

Author: Travis Kinney

Here are some photos of an old farmhouse on the coast that was renovated. There’s a lot of history to this old place as it was once owned by the Swedish Consulate during WWII. The the left of this ell was an old 2-car garage that was torn down.
